Chemical Peels and Resurfacers


Dermaquest Skin Care
Enzyme facials can be used on all skin types and conditions. Enzymes have been considered a great deep cleanser for a long time, but there is more to them than just a good surface cleanser. Clients who do not care for, or cannot have an acid series of peels have an alternative that produces results, without the stinging of acid applications. An enzyme mask can also be the preparation facial for boosting home care, ie dry and dehydrated skin will benefit from the removal of the dead cells by the enzyme mask, allowing the hydrating home care to bring faster, more noticeable results to the skin. Also, acne home care is much more likely to unclog and reduce inflammation if the accumulated buildup of cells has been removed from the skin surface. And anti-ageing products can penetrate deeper and faster to stimulate collagen and elastin development if these blockages are removed.

Pumpkin Resurfacer
An advanced exfoliation treatment containing enzymes. Excellent for age management, acne and hyperpigmentation. Improves skin hydratrion. Supports barrier function of the skin. Refine the appearance of wrinkles. Decreases existing acne and aids in preventing new acne lesions. Evens skin tone and lightens pigmentation. Stimulates collagen production.

TCA (7%) Salicylic Acid (2%) Peel
A series of three 3-weekly peels designed to improve overall skin texture and tone. Also excellent for photo-damaged skin and comedonal acne. Appropriate for all skin types. Dissolves the top layer of stratum corneum. Provides a smoother softer appearance of the skin. Reduces fine lines and wrinkles. Evens colouring and lightens pigmentation.
